Due to its territory conformity that doesn�t give too much room for constructions and to its popularity, Liguria is considered as one of the most prestigious regions in Italy.
Places such as Portofino (where Madonna has celebrated her 51st birthday a few days ago) and Cinque Terre, are some of the most sought after areas. Property prices in Liguria are considered to be very high, in fact it is the most favourite region by Russian buyers, but if we look more carefully we discover that prices can vary a lot from place to place, quite often from street to street of the same town.
