HISTORICAL REFERENCES
Ancient building dating back to the beginning of the Nineteenth century, carefully restored to residential use. Originally consisting from a simple rural building in the service of the adjacent Palazzo Pinni (damaged and subsequently demolished due to the seismic events that hit Friuli in 1976) has been re-evaluated thanks to its recovery and the renovation of the main square. The particular stone structure and the adjoining stone arch give the environment a fascinating and evocative look.
Over time, had several destinations until it was purchased by private individuals has transformed it in a house, still maintaining the distinctive historical features.
DESCRIPTION
The building develops on three floors. On the ground floor there is a large porch enclosed by two big wooden doorway, also used as a covered parking place, a tavern, a laundry room and a secondary bath. The first floor includes a large open-space room with living room, dining area and large fitted kitchen, plus a storage closet. On the second floor there is the sleeping area, consisting of a master bedroom with private bathroom, a second large space divisible into two separate rooms and the main bathroom.
The interior floors and stairs are all in ceramic or wood, with the exception of the porch that has a typical stone pavement. The windows are in wood and in the sleeping area they have shutters interiors. Heating, on the other hand, is powered by a methane gas boiler, but in several rooms there are also chimneys for the installation of fireplaces or stoves.
On the back of the house there is a fully enclosed private garden, accessible by car through a metal gate.
