The Medieval town has two splendid squares with Romanic churches; the main square hosts periodically national sculpture exhibitions. The streets host art galleries and delicious typical restaurants. The boulevard where the house is situated leads to the marvellous sandy beaches of Versilia. The Apuan Alps chain with its white marble caves embellishes the city and they can be easily reached.
